Our internet has been down for too long and I haven't been able to post, which was a big bummer!! But, I have been doing well. Summer is here so I have been walking, gardening and swimming (soon!!). I have missed posting blogs and keeping track of everything. The last doctors appointment went really well. The babies heart beat was 138! Pretty exciting. My blood pressure is normal, which is great because I have cut my sodium. I have become aware of the negative side affects of indulging in fast foods and high sodium on Pregnancy. But, the baby seems to be doing well and growing very well. I had only gained about 2 pounds which was SUPER exciting. I will have to post some pictures soon of the growing baby bump! I am feeling really good because my energy levels are good and I am feeling pretty wonderful! Also, wanted to share an awesome recipe I found last week, ENJOY!
Tomatoe Stuffed with Tuna & Avacado
1 can of low sodium tuna
a splash of lemon juice
1/2 of a ripe avacado
1 tbs of low-fat sour cream
1 dash of garlic salt

1 ripe tomatoe

(seasoning of your choice)

MMM mmm mmm Good!
Well, I made it through Cinco De Mayo without completely over indulging. I went to a party and ate a small serving size of chips and queso and quacamole (which I loveeeee). Today was a pretty healthy day. My stomach has been kinda queasy so I've been prone to excessive laziness. But, I plan on doing some Prenatal Yoga (which is great for digestion) after my dinner settles. I made some awesome Talapia for dinner and I will most definitely be sharing the recipe which is mostly made up. But, it was super delicious and very low calorie. I am feeling pretty good about how I have been eating. I have been mostly avoiding high calorie sweets, sodas and juices. Which I feel is definitely paying off! I have another Doctor's appointment on May 27 and I am looking forward to seeing how the baby is progressing and definitely weigh again!!!
Delightful Talapia Recipe
Ingredients
Desire amount of Fresh of Frozen Talapia
Half of a fresh lemon
Low sodium soy sauce
Low calorie Asian dressing
Lemon Pepper
Seasoning Salt
Foil
Baking Directions:
Thaw fish and rinse in cool water. Place fish in plastic bowl with enough soy sauce and asian dressing to cover fish. Cover bowl in plastic and place in refridgerator to marinate for desired amount of time ( I would recommend 1-2 hours). Preheat over to 4oo degress. Remove fish from the oven and into a glass pyrex baking pan. Caver pan with foil. Poke a few holes in foil. Cook for 15-30 (depending on size of Talapia flanks) until fish is white and flaky and delicious!!

Moving & Shaking!
Today has been a good day, very productive! I did Yoga, CLEANED the house =D, and moved aside the funiture and danced with the baby! I loved the Prenatal Yoga video I did, it was relaxing & enjoyable. I am definitely going to try to do this a few times a week. I guess I was motivated by Zumba yesterday to do some more inside exercises. Just because the weather isn't lovely doesn't mean I have to be lazy.
As far as food goes I had a high protein breakfast, scrambled eggs with cheese and ham, wheat toast and a small cup of coffee with 2% milk. Rotissery (spelling LOL) chicken for dinner which was delicious and a banana! Dried fruits and nuts to snack on yum!! Cleaning the house has really whooped me. If you constantly move around the house bending and twisting to pick up stuff, vacuum and put away items you have the potential to burn quite a few calories.. I like to do this because it serves multiple purposes; making your house lovely and keeping your body moving! When your a Mom, making the most of your time is important!

Do Believe the Hype!
Finally Zumba'ed after weeks of saying I was going to do so! Had a blast, was sweeating like nobodies business and I am feeling wonderful! I am glad I finally found an exercise I can do inside, so when it is rainy, yucky, or super hot outside I can still exercise. I am thinking about getting Zumba for the wii!! On the down side I am having pretty awful sweet cravings. Luckily we have nothing SWEET at our house, much to my dismay. I'm still hoping for some more beautiful spring days so I can get outside and WALK! Even better when it warms up swimming. I swam alot in my first pregnancy and LOVED it. You feel so weightless and relaxed. And plus they have some super cute maternity bathing suits. This pregnancy has been awesome so far and I have even been feeling the baby kick today. I am pretty psyched about that because it is much earlier than with my first daughter. Well, that is pretty much all for now! Oh, and I had this awesome kale, veggie and meat style stew at my Mom's house. Wow, it is excellent. I will post the recipe soon!! YUM! TTFN!

Who said 7 month pregnant women can't dance!
Today has been so gray! We tried to go for a walk but made it half way around the block before it started to Sprinkle. I love Spring but geez all this rain is really wearing me out!! Plus, this kind of weather makes my bones so achy and tired. So, I cheered myself, ate some cookies and spent time with my family. This has been a HIGH stress month. I just need to remember to unwind anyway I can. My daily walk is usually a nice relaxing, destressing activity so it stinks when I'm stuck inside sitting on my butt!
I found this video inspiring and quite comical! But I LOVE it!

Big Girl (You Are Beautiful)
This song is PERRRFECT for my page! LOVE IT! =D
Yesterday was so much fun! I went to a Mary Kay make-over party and had a blast. I really liked all the products I got to try. They skin car products were probably my favorite. Putting on new mineral make-up was pretty awesome too! When I got home from the party I went for a walk with my family. It was so nice outside, with the perfect breeze. It feels about the same today so I am looking forward to getting out when I get off work! I also found a NEW pair of maternity shorts from Burlington Coat Factory! They are so cute. Today has really allowed me to jazz up my style a little and remember to feel beauty. As a Mom it is so important for me to have ME time. It keeps me fresh, happy and allows me to be a kinder Mother and wife. I sometime forget how important it is to take some time out to just pamper myself. Especially during pregnancy when nothing fits, your swollen and your gaining weight. You just need a reminder that despite the changes you under-go you are beautiful!
