Today is rainy, cold and boring. I was looking forward to going for a walk!!! Maybe it will clear up! Last night we took the babies for a walk. Gabriel rode in the stroller for the first time and Annabelle rode in her big girl tricycle thing! It felt so good to get out of the house and get some exercise. I went with my husband so we walked FAST! It felt so good to sweat and work my muscles! But, I don't want to do too much so maybe it is good I rest my body a bit today! I can't wait to weigh again but I need to wait. I don't want to weigh to often and get disappointed. I have still be eating slooowwwlllyyyy! I am surprised by how fast I get full and how satisfied I feel. I prepare these small portions and think, "That is NOT going to get me full and I'm DEFINITELY going to need seconds." Basically, MORE MORE MORE. I never realized how much I was eating with my eyes and never actually taking the time to listen to when my body says I'm full and satisfied. I feel like everything tastes better too. It really takes conscious effort to slow down while I eat, I really have to think about it. It's a totally new concept to me that is not in my nature. I think if I can make this a habbit I can definitely lose weight. Also, yesterday I lifted my 5 lbs weight for a few reps. Not sure what all I can do with the five pound weight, maybe I will have to google some good moves to use while indoors today. I have been trying to drink MORE water today and yesterday I know that is a great way to help your body shed excess weight. Anyway, this blog has been all over the place. I guess I'm just excited. I'm putting health and fitness first for the first time and my life and it is really important to me. OH, trying a really delicious sounding gumbo tonight that is also healthy. I will post the recipe for ya!

Fresh greens salad with sugar free vinegrette and feta cheese

TBA something with guacamole LOL and maybe a peice of fruit or veggies
